kerpow! i’m continuing to post items from my new collection this week, and my new wide diamond classic birdcage veil is a new take on my classic cage veil — except this one has deliciously modern wide-diamond netting. a little bit sassier than traditional birdcage veils in russian netting or french veiling, no?

so my posting of new items has continued (sorry about the blip–i’m fighting a rough case of tendonitis in both arms, so i had to take a breather last week) — this week is my new daisy feather flower fascinator, which is a really sweet bridal hair comb. the daisy “petals” have 3 layers of feathers each, and the center has a swarovski and faux pearl accent, which is just about as feminine as it gets, no?

one of my favorite bridal hair resources, the bliss book, has featured my headband birdcage veil as their hair adornment of the week! head on over to the post to check out their suggestion for a gorgeous updo to pair with my headband veil, and check out their book as well for more great inspiration.

i love a piled-high intricate updo with this veil, but it’s such an easy style to wear that it also works great with flowing, long hair worn down or in a half-updo as well. all you have to do is pop it on, adjust it slightly forward or backward to suit your taste, and you’re good to go!

sometimes i get the feeling that i make cage veils just to live out my mad men early 60s style fantasy. get a load of this veil, betty draper: it’s my new long birdcage veil with blusher, made from shoulder length russian netting, with two layers, so you can wear it over your face for drama, then fold it back for the kiss. versatile, no?

the new veils just keep on coming, no? i’ll have new fascinators posted soon, but i’m just so psyched about my new styles. this one i just adore… it’s made from vintage french netting in the most delicious, drapable soft diamond weave that i just can’t get enough of. the supply of the netting is super limited, so get it while it’s hot, as they say.

i think this would be particularly great for bridemaids doing a breakfast at tiffany’s look, but maybe i’m just audrey hepburn obsessed. what do you think of bridesmaids in birdcage veils?
