let me interrupt the dress squeeing for a moment, with a link to a good article that compares the legal battle against interracial marriage discrimination to the fight for gay marriage rights in the united states. certainly worth a read.

    Whilst the UK is hardly progressive (it annoys me that it’s called a civil partnership) I can’t believe this is even an issue in 2009. Seriously what is the big deal?
